Surah Anfal:1

Q1: What qualities of the believers are mentioned in this lesson?
Answer: 
QUALITIES OF THE BELIEVERS
  1. When Allah is mentioned, their hearts feel fear.
  2. When His revelations are recited, their faith is strengthened.
  3. They have trust in their Lord.
  4. They establish their daily prayers.
  5. They spend in the path of Allah.
 Q2. What is meant by "the two groups"?
Answer:
The groups of Abu Sufyan and Abu Jehl are being referred to in Ayah 7.
Abu Sufyan's trade caravan:
This caravan was being lead by Abu Sufyan and was coming back from Syria. It carried around 50,000 dinars.
Abu Jehl's war army:


This caravan, under the leadership of Abu Jehl, was coming from Makkah to fight the Muslims. It consisted of 1000 well equipped warriors.
